Barmy Bank Holiday

What a great place to stay! Simply loved the luxury souped-up beach huts on Boscombe beach, what a refreshing surprise #BournemothBeachLodges. Even the weather was reasonably kind by allowing us enough sunshine every day to manage a daring dip in the increasingly chilly splosh. So pleased to see the suitably placed lifeguard hut as the waves were rather treacherous but on the other hand rather concerned that they may be forced to rescue us. I am a really strong swimmer even with one hand carrying my underwater camera but the pull of the waves was at times extreme. Let's just say that not only did I emerge from the sea covered in sand but I also found a medium sized boulder secreted in my suit! So glad I decided not to take my body board, I could have ended up on the Isle of Wight. What a fab time though: fireworks, fish and chips, and icecream. What's not to love?
