Heatwave in Pula

Why do I always go to Croatia in a heatwave? The answer is simple, summers in Croatia are hot! So glad my friends have upgraded from staying in their caravan to their delightful new flat. I still enjoy visiting Premantura and having barbecued fish next to the caravan during the day but I don't miss the mosquitoes and pitch black of the night. The ideal location of the flat with its aircon is better suited to my mature years! Best day this year was a boat trip from Pula towards Zadar, stopping for a few relaxed hours swimming off of a beach on the island of Silba. Great to see new locations whilst sailing past old haunts, such as Cres and Mali Losinj. As usual Pula did not disappoint, including the pizza and the beer, only place I ever drink grapefruit flavour though. If not for the B exit thing I probably would have retired here but ho hum.
